 Welcome to Malindi town, one of the pre
historic towns in East Africa. Located on the
Kenyan coastline, Malindi
town lies about 150 km to the North East of Mombasa City. Malindi
is a Cosmo polis whose inhabitants include the Mijikenda mostly of
the Giriama decency and the Swahili. Over the years Malindi has
experienced a growth in investment in the hotel industry by mostly
Europeans of the German and Italian decency.
Malindi town boasts a host of historic
sites including the Vasco da Gama pillar built in the late 1800's by a
Portuguese explorer 'Vasco Da Gama' and some historic swahili palaces
built by sultanate's including the Gedi Ruins. Malindi beach hotels
offer a perfect gate away for a family holiday or for a couple on
honeymoon. They are less congested compared t Mombasa beach hotels and
can offer a tranquil environment with a cool see breeze in the evenings.

climate throughout the year with temperatures ranging from lows of 24° C
to high's 35° C. Like most of Kenya Malindi experiences two rainy
seasons between March and May and November and December although due to
climate changes across the world the rains may came early or late.
