Reservations:
A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking and the balance at least 45 days before the tour begins.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are only effective upon Roaming Africa receipt of written notification, signed by the client. If cancellation is made prior to 8 weeks before departure, your deposit is forfeited. If your cancellation is made after the due date for full payment of your trip fare, additional charges will be levied. The scale of charges, expressed as a percentage of the trip price, is as follows:

• More than 8 weeks notice ~ Deposit forfeited;
• Less than 8 weeks notice ~ 45%;
• Less than 4 weeks notice ~ 50%;
• Less than 3 weeks notice ~ 60%;
• Less than 2 weeks notice ~ 100%.

Should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no tour fare refund will be made. Some air fare may be non refundable. There will be no refunds from Edge East Africa or Roaming Africa for any unused portions of the tour. The above policy applies to all travel arrangements made via Edge East Africa Safaris or Roaming Africa.

For hotel reservations and booking, cancellation policy for each individual hotel apply.
Rates:

Tour rates includes all expenses in respect of vehicle and driver as per itinerary, meals on safari, park entrance fees to national parks and game reserves where specified in the itinerary. Rates also include government taxes but do not include levy fees for visas or cross boarder transactions.

Hotel booking rates are subject to change without notice.

Transportation:
Cars, minibuses, land rovers or coaches will be provided according to the route and number of clients. The company reserves the right to employ the services of subcontractors. English - speaking drivers/guides are provided.

Accommodation:
For tours and safaris, accommodation is based on two persons sharing a twin room: where possible rooms with private bath are requested. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed. Hotel/lodges are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar hotels/lodges.

Alteration to tours: the company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at anytime, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.
Prices are based on tariffs and other costs prevailing at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.

For Hotel booking, accommodation will be as per the reservation confirmation from the hotel.

Insurance:

It is a condition of booking that the sole responsibility lies with the guest to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependants and traveling companions for the duration of their tour to Africa. This insurance should include coverage in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellation or curtailment of the safari, emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage, theft or loss of personal baggage, money and goods. Edge East Africa Safaris and Roaming Africa will take no responsibility for any costs for losses incurred or suffered by the guest, or guest's dependants or traveling companions, with regards to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance coverage.

Liability:
The Company and its agent’s act only as agents of the tour, transport etc. And shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
The company's liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arises. The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the services.
The company shall not be held responsible for loss or damages to luggage.
